Description
Are you interested in a paid academic year internship? Do you want to learn more about Chicago area government agencies and nonprofits involved in advocacy and activism? If so, join us on Friday, October 6 from 2 to 3:30 to learn about the IOP's academic year internship program.
With a cohort of 65 total interns, IOP Academic-Year Internships offer hands-on experience with government entities and political organizations around Chicago. Students are awarded a $2,550 stipend to help support their placement in an internship lasting 160 total hours (10-20 total hours of onboarding in the fall quarter; 10 hours per week in winter and spring). Some of our internship partner organizations have included the Chicago Mayor's Office, Chicago Public Schools, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Illinois Justice Project, and Advance Illinois.
*Please note - this event has outgrown the IOP Living Room. Please join us via Zoom - this link in your inbox once you RSVP. Thanks!
