Chicago Immigration Trek

The IOP hosts Chicago Treks in partnership with the Harris Center for Effective Government. Each trek offers 20 students the chance to dive into a political issue area through meeting with a broad range of public service practitioners and site visits to relevant organizations. Speakers include IOP Pritzker Fellow & Former Congressman Luis Gutierrez, Jocelyn Aranda-Ortiz, Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (“ICIRR”), and Veronica Reyes, CLA’ 20 of The Resurrection Project.
RSVP Required. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation provided.
