Description
Summer 2022 IOP Interns: Please join the IOP for a conversation with White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on Thursday, August 4. Prior to working in the Biden Administration, Sullivan worked as a policy advisor for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign. He also worked in the Obama Administration as a top aide in the State Department.
This event will be capped at 30 students, and you must register for the event in two steps:
1) Complete the IOP registration form by 12 PM Eastern time on Saturday, July 30.
2) After you have been confirmed as an attendee, the IOP will email you a link to register with the White House. YOU MUST COMPLETE THIS BY 6 PM ON SATURDAY, JULY 30
We will meet outside the White House at 2:30 PM on Thursday, August 4. There may be other meetings in addition to the meeting with Mr. Sullivan, so you must block out your entire afternoon from 2:30 PM until the end of day pending the scheduling of those meetings.
You must test negative for COVID-19 within 24 hours of the meeting. Additionally, you must answer ‘NO’ to the following questions to be allowed to enter the White House complex on Thursday, August 4. To repeat, this attestation and negative COVID-19 testing are a condition of entry.
