Student interns participating in the University of Chicago Urban Policy and Research Program (UPReP) and Activism and Community Engagement (ACE) program during the 2021-2022 academic year are invited to join us for conversation and dinner. Kim Smith and David Leitson of the University of Chicago Crime Lab will discuss crime in Chicago and how data and evidence help policymakers and non-profits respond to surges in gun violence. UPReP and ACE students will have an opportunity to engage and ask questions in an informal setting.
