Description

OPEN TO CURRENT UCHICAGO STUDENTS ONLY
David will be joined by Cook Political Report's David Wasserman and Politico's Jonathan Martin for a seminar previewing all things midterms. The current political landscape has Democrats well positioned to win the House, but Republicans are spending heavily, and there are never any givens in American politics. What is the math behind the map, what are the contests to watch, and what Congressional races should people look to on election night for early signals on how the broader night will unfold? What are both men seeing and hearing in toss-up districts, what are the major factors at play, and which individual races do they find most compelling heading into November? What role is money playing in races, and how could that affect the potential blue wave?
Special Guests: Jonathan Martin, Senior Political Columnist for Politico & David Wasserman, Editor of Cook Political Report with Amy Walter
