What Does Google Say About You? Managing Your Digital Footprint

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO CURRENT UCHICAGO STUDENTS ONLY

Monday, April 27th

3:30 pm - 4:45 pm

IOP Living Room, 5707 S Woodlawn Ave, Chicago, IL 60637

In today's professional world, employers and recruiters will often Google you before you even meet them and your online presence shapes their first impression. This seminar will help students take stock of what they're showing online and develop strategies to ensure their digital footprint works in their favor. We'll cover how to review your online presence, manage your social media, and tips for a LinkedIn profile that reflects your experience and goals.

Please bring your smartphone or laptop — we'll be doing a live interactive activity during the session.

Guest: Cameron Trimble, Managing Partner, Hued Strategies and former White House Director of Digital Engagement

Career Development and Practitioner in Residence workshops are off the record and open to current UChicago students only. Seating in the IOP Living Room is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
