Description
The Revolt of The College Educated Working Class
%20copy.png)
New York Times labor reporter Noam Scheiber will discuss his new book Mutiny, which chronicles the rising frustration of young, college-educated workers who took on significant debt for educations that did not deliver on their promise. From an Apple store employee near Baltimore who helped organize her coworkers, to workers from Starbucks cafés, video game studios, and Hollywood writers' rooms, his subjects explored their disillusionment with “the system” and their ongoing fight for change. Mr. Scheiber will be joined by Teddy Hoffman, former Starbucks union organizer. Moderated by Monica Eng, Axios Chicago.
