Election nerds (and New Yorkers and Californians) unite: A post special election analysis looking at the New York City mayoral race, various governors contests and the crucial battle over redistricting in California. We’ll dive into winners, losers and what – if anything – these races presage for the 2026 midterm elections.

Featuring Jonathan Martin, senior political columnist at Politico; Amy Walter, publisher and editor-in-chief of The Cook Political Report; Democratic strategist Waleed Shahid and Mark Campbell, Republican political strategist. Jonathan Martin will join in person, and the other guests will join via Zoom.
