Join the IOP CD team as we attend a Chicago Public Schools Board of Education meeting! This is a great opportunity to learn about how the first elected school board in CPS history manages and oversees budget, creates and passes policy, and discusses district progress. We will be joined before the meeting by elected board members Dr. Che "Rhymefest" Smith, a Grammy award winning artist, non-profit leader, and community activist and Ellen Rosenfeld, a CPS parent and teacher, community leader, and former CPS Family and Community Engagement Specialist.
