Description
Eager to work in politics in your community and leverage the IOP's career resources?
Come to Career Development's Hometown Internships Coaching Session! The Hometown Internships Program is a Career Development cohort for students seeking to pursue IOP-funded internships in politics and policy in their hometowns. Join us to chat about where you're from, research potential employers together, and walk through templates on how to communicate with potential employers about the program.
Students will be asked to submit the Hometown Internships interest form to be eligible for the program, and will need to secure an internship by March 14 in order to claim a stipend. However, this session will be beneficial to anyone, even if you have not submitted the Hometown Internship application form yet, or don't plan to.
This event will be held in the IOP's Student Workroom (Basement) on Monday, 3/3 from 11-12 pm. Thank you!
