In the immediate aftermath of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, I stepped into the role of Chief of Staff for Senator Romney and was immediately confronted with the challenges of ensuring the safety and well-being of the Senator amid heightened security threats, helping a traumatized staff process the aftereffects and navigating the fractured political landscape within the Senate. This seminar explores the critical role of relationships and resilience in the face of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. We will examine how trust, collaboration and emotional fortitude were essential for navigating the crisis and its aftermath.
