Join us to learn about national security and communications career advice from Colonel Dave Butler, Communications Advisor to the Chief of Staff of the Army. This will be an exciting opportunity to learn more about international policy career trajectories and the role for communications specialists in the national security space. The career discussion will be followed immediately by a reception at the ZO Lounge, 1717 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20006 (almost directly across the street from the UChicago Office of Federal Relations) with the opportunity to connect with fellow interns and alums over food and drinks.

The program will be a moderated discussion with Col. Butler accompanied by a Q&A session, which will take place in the UChicago Office of Federal Relations from 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM. We will then proceed to the rooftop for our reception. If you are unable to attend the discussion, you are still welcome to join us at the reception for food and socialization.
