Description

Join a panel of expert journalists from around the world as they discuss their coverage of the defining conflict of our time: the Israel-Hamas war. Featuring freelance reporter and IOP visiting Pritzker Fellow Noga Tarnopolsky, Los Angeles Times foreign correspondent and Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist Marcus Yam.

Moderated by New York Times opinion columnist and former foreign correspondent Lydia Polgreen.

This event kicks off the IOP’s annual Journalism Week, which honors the legacy of David S. Broder, a titan of journalism and University of Chicago alumni who changed the game of political reporting in Washington. His columns for the Washington Post on the Watergate scandal inspired his nickname “Dean of the Press Corps” and earned him the 1973 Pulitzer Prize for commentary.

Dinner served.
